At Luna Spas, we understand that a bath has to be a luxury experience; that’s why we sell a range of luxury whirlpool baths that create a spa-like experience at home. And while it is true that a bath will use more water than a shower, you don’t have to waste water to enjoy a bath.
We have a range of eco whirlpool baths that combine design and resource to create baths that use less water and will see you saving water in the long run.
Take a look at the current range we have and find out more about our eco bath range.
How much water do these baths save?
On average, a typical 1700mm by 700mm bath will hold up to 190 litres. These baths can reduce the amount used by up to 31% to around 130 litres.
How do eco baths save water?
These baths have two simple features that reduce their load.
Firstly these baths are shallower although they don’t noticeably look smaller. They also have a deeper angle on the back end which also helps bring the volume down without the bath looking anymore different than a traditional model.
How can I save water while in the bath?
We’ve all been in a situation where you’re in the bath for a while, and you can feel the drop in temperature. Usually this would see you fiddle about with the taps and topping up the tub to get the temperature back to perfect.
You can skip all this and save more water but having an inline heater installed. This is a special heater that turns on when you’ve filled the tub. It helps to keep the water at your desired temperature for the duration of your bath.
Can I get a water-saving bath for a small bathroom?
Stuck for space? We can help. Some of the bathtubs on this page you’ll see are 1500mm long; an ideal option when you’re just a little short of being able to fit a regular bath.
What end of the bath are taps located?
The baths on this page are all single-ended tubs, so you’ll have your taps at one end of the bath.
Do these baths have handles?
Most of the baths have handles as standard to make it easy to get in and out. In the case of a tub like the Carron Matrix Eco, you can purchase chrome bath grips separately, and we can make sure they’re fitted before being shipped out.
How do I clean an eco-whirlpool bath?
We recommend buying whirlpool bath cleaner to help clean your system effectively. You can save water by buying sterilising tablets. Pop one in when you’re done, leave the water as is and let the system run. The tablets will lift any residue in pipes and around the jets to keep it in good order.
Do the tubs have adjustable jets?
If you want your jet experience to target certain areas, you would be looking to get a flow diverter to help adjust the flow of water.
