For Your Safety

Please read and follow these safety instructions carefully to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience with your whirlpool bath.

⚠️

Risk of Electric Shock

Always keep electrical devices away from your bath. This product is intended for adult use. Children and individuals with limited capabilities must always be supervised when near or using the bath.

ℹ️

Health & Usage Advice

Please only use your bath when you are in good health. If you have conditions like high/low blood pressure, heart issues, diabetes, are pregnant, or are on medication, consult your doctor first. Avoid using the bath if you are unwell, have an infection, or are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

🌑️

Water Temperature Caution

Do not let the water temperature exceed 40Β°C (104Β°F). Extended periods in hot water can lead to hyperthermia (overheating). If you feel unwell, dizzy, or too warm, exit the bath immediately.

❗

General Precautions

Before each use, always check that your bath and especially the suction cover are not damaged.

Only use bath additives specifically designed for whirlpool systems. Avoid excessively foaming products or mud baths as they can cause issues.

Your whirlpool bath is for private, indoor bathing only. Please drain it after every use.

Operating Your System

Here’s how to easily turn on, turn off, and adjust your whirlpool bath for a perfect experience.

Before Your First Whirlpool

We recommend disinfecting your whirlpool system before its very first use. Please refer to the 'Cleaning & Care' tab for detailed instructions on how to do this.

Switching On & Off

Step 1: Power On

Ensure the main power switch for your bath (usually a wall isolator switch) is turned on.

Step 2: Water Level Check

  • When the system has power but the water level is below the pre-set operating level, the LED on your touchpad will flash every 8 seconds.
  • Carefully fill your bath with water. The system will not operate until the water level is sufficiently above the jets (at least 5 cm / approx. 2 inches above the uppermost jet).
  • Once this safe water level is reached, the LED on your touchpad will change to flash rapidly, between 1-2 times per second, indicating the system is ready for use.

Step 3: Activating the Whirlpool

Choose your preferred massage mode:

  • First touch of the "Jet" button: The whirlpool system will switch on in constant mode, providing a steady, continuous flow from the jets.
  • Second touch of the "Jet" button: The whirlpool will switch to pulse mode. The pump will switch on and off continuously, creating an invigorating, pulsing massage.

Step 4: Switching Off

  • Third press of the "Jet" button: The whirlpool system will switch off completely.
  • When you’ve finished bathing and the system is off, remember to turn off the main power switch at the wall.

Adjusting Your Massage

Activating the Blower (Air Boost)

Switch on the blower via its dedicated button on the control pad to introduce a powerful air boost to your massage. Use the +/- buttons to adjust the power setting to your desired level.

Important Blower Note: Once the water level falls below the sensor level, the LED on the touchpad will flash twice every second. This indicates that the automatic blow-out cycle has started, which will turn the blower on in 20-25 minutes for approximately 3 minutes to help dry the system and prevent mildew.

Changing Jet Direction

To target specific areas, gently rotate the ball within each jet nozzle. Find the perfect direction for your personalized massage.

Diverter (If Base Jets Are Fitted)

If your bath features base jets, you will have a diverter control (often a knob or lever). This allows you to channel the air from the blower through either the base jets (for an all-over bubbly sensation) or the side jets (for a more targeted massage). Simply turn the diverter to your desired setting.

Special Features (If Applicable)

Colour Therapy Lighting

Press the dedicated light button once to activate the colour therapy lighting. The system will then scroll through colours continuously.

  • Holding down the button: Will pause the scrolling, allowing you to cycle through the colours until your desired hue is reached. Releasing the button will retain that colour.
  • Third press of the button: Will turn off the lights.

Thermo Therapy Heating

The inline heater is operated by an internal flow switch. Once the whirlpool pump is switched on, the flow switch will activate, and the heater will turn on. This heater is pre-set to maintain your bath water at approximately 39 degrees Celsius (102Β°F).

Please note: The heater is designed to maintain the water temperature during your bath, not to heat cold water up to the desired temperature.

Koller Milk System

For the Koller Milk System to operate, simply switch it on via a press of its dedicated button on the control pad. The system will then aerate the water with a high emission of fine micro-bubbles, creating a milky appearance. After approximately 2 minutes, turn the system off. Repeat as necessary.

Please note: The Koller Milk System is designed to work independently of the whirlpool jet system, as the powerful whirlpool jets will act to disperse the beneficial air bubbles much more quickly.

Cleaning and Care

Your whirlpool bath is a sanctuary for relaxation. To ensure it remains a pristine and hygienic space for years to come, a simple and consistent care routine is all that's required. This guide provides you with everything you need to know about effortless maintenance, so you can enjoy your Luna Spas sanctuary with complete confidence and peace of mind.

Keeping your whirlpool bath in perfect condition doesn't have to be a chore. With just a moment of care after each use, you can ensure it remains fresh and hygienic.

  • Wipe down the bath with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. This is especially important in Hard Water areas.
  • Our systems have an automatic blow dry function that operates once the bath has fully drained to dry all the pipework, reducing mildew build-up.
  • Keep a simple, non-abrasive cleaner and soft cloth nearby should you need.

To ensure your system remains spotless and performs at its best, we recommend using our Chlorogene Sterilising Tablets. The tablets work by releasing chlorine dioxide upon contact with water, a highly effective substance that provides rapid and targeted disinfection.

How to Deep Clean:

  1. Preparation: Fill the bath with warm water, ensuring it covers the highest jets (or use the bath water you have just stepped out from).
  2. Clean: Simply drop one Chlorogene T25 tablet into the bath water and run the whirlpool system for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Drain and Rinse: Drain the bath completely. For an extra clean, you may wish to refill with fresh water and run the jets for another minute or two to flush the system one last time.

To keep your bath's surface looking pristine, regular cleaning is key. Always clean spills immediately. Follow these simple steps for effective and safe cleaning:

  • Daily Cleaning: Use water and a microfibre cleaning cloth.
  • Heavier Soiling: Apply a neutral cleaning agent (pH 6-8), such as a neutral cleaner, to a microfibre cleaning cloth.
  • Coated and Lacquered Surfaces (Coloured): Use a neutral cleaning agent (pH 6-8) with a cotton cleaning cloth. Clean without applying pressure to avoid shiny marks and scratches.

How to Clean:

  1. Clean the surface with a damp cleaning cloth.
  2. For heavier soiling, apply the recommended cleaning agent to the cleaning cloth (never directly to the surface).
  3. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all traces of the cleaning agent.
  4. Dry the surface completely.

Cleaning Agents & Tools to Avoid:

  • Forbidden Cleaning Agents: Do NOT use benzene-based (e.g., petroleum ether), chlorine-based (e.g., toilet cleaner), or abrasive cleaning agents (e.g., abrasive cleaner, polish).
  • Forbidden Cleaning Tools: Do NOT use high-pressure washers or steam cleaning machines.
  • Always follow the cleaning agent manufacturer's instructions for use.
  • Care products specifically for acrylic surfaces are available to remove scratches and surface damage. Search for "Acrylic Bath Scratch Repair".
