What is a deep soak bath?

We officially term a 'deep soak bath' as a bath that's internal depth is at least 450mm. The difference between a regular bath and a deep soak bath is around 80 - 90mm and, once you've tried a deep soaker, it can be hard to go back.
When considering having a deep soak bathtub in your bathroom, do consider the dimensions, especially the height.
Although we don't usually think about heigh when choosing a regular bath, a bath with deeper sides can come into conflict with sinks, lights or storage units, so do some careful planning before installation.
We have one of the loveliest ranges of deep soak whirlpool baths in the UK and below we display a couple of our favourite options.
Aquaestil Plane Solo Quantum Whirlpool Bath
The Aquaestil is one of the deepest baths in our catalogue clocking in at 490mm in depth. This beauty is a superbly-crafted luxury bath and is available in several sizes and with a range of additional options.
Featuring an 18mm encapsulated baseboard with an extra reinforcement layer, this bath delivers the ultimate in strength, rigidity and heat retention.
It also features a 14 jet Quantum Whirlpool system with self-draining, low-profile jets that are able to deliver a powerful bout of hydromassage.
Carron Celsius Duo, Tranquility Whirlpool Bath
With dimensions of 2000 x 1400mm, the Carron Celsius Duo is the biggest bath that we offer. This huge bath is the closest thing to a full on hot tub that you can have in your home and can comfortably fit two people side by side.
This extra deep bath is finished in Carronite, which is a stronger and heavier material than acrylic. This means it has greater rigidity and improved heat retention than a standard acrylic bath.
Available with some fantastic options, such as as 24 air spa jets, the Carron Celsius Duo is a brilliant deep bath that can offer you the ultimate in home spa luxury!
